The separator tool is designed for the use of 1.5 ml or 2.0 ml standard micro centrifuge tubes and for 15 ml or 50 ml standard centrifuge tubes. The separator rack allows parallel processing of 12 reactions in standard micro centrifuge tubes or 2 reactions in standard centrifuge tubes. The complete range of magnetic separation procedures can be applied on this instrument including cell sorting, protein purification, and DNA/ RNA/ mRNA isolation. InviMag® Blood DNA Mini Kit
The InviMag® Blood DNA Mini Kit has been designed for manual extraction and purification of total (genomic and mitochondrial) DNA from whole blood or blood related samples using magnetic beads. The nucleic acid isolation protocol is suitable for preparation of DNA from fresh or frozen whole blood sample, buffy coat, non mammalian blood, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), bone marrow, and swabs. For reproducible and high yields appropriate sample storage is essential.
InviMag® Cell RNA Mini Kit
The InviMag® Cell RNA Mini Kit provides a fast and efficient way for reliable isolation of high quality total RNA as well as the isolation of the proteins from samples of human or animal cells (cell culture), bacteria, or yeast. The kit simplifies total RNA isolation by combining efficient lysis of the starting material and the inactivation of exogenous and endogenous RNases with the efficient removal of the genomic DNA. The genomic DNA is fixed at the surface of the mineral carrier particles provided with the Kit simultaneously to the cell lysis. Selective binding of the DNA is assured by optimized buffer conditions and the mineral carrier particles loaded with the genomic DNA are removed by centrifugation
InviMag® Virus DNA/RNA Kit
The InviMag® Virus DNA/RNA Kit has been designed for a simultaneous rapid and economical preparation of viral DNA and RNA from a wide range of clinical samples, using a combination of RTP® technology, magnetic beads, and a magnetic tool. For the wide range of different clinical samples the kit includes protocols adapted to the need of many kinds of starting material. The lysis will be carried out at two different incubation temperatures in the Extraction Tube to increase the sensitivity, followed by binding of the virus nucleic acids to the InviMag® beads, washing steps and the final elution.
InviMag® Virus RNA Mini Kit
The InviMag® Virus RNA Mini Kit allows rapid and economical purification of viral RNA from up to 200 µl of fresh or frozen plasma, serum, cell free body fluids of human origin as well as rinsed liquid from swabs or stool samples using magnetic beads. The viral RNA binds to the magnetic beads, followed by washing steps and the final elution.
InviMag® Virus DNA Mini Kit
The InviMag® Virus DNA Mini Kit procedure is the ideal tool for efficient extraction and purification of viral DNA from fresh or frozen plasma, serum, cell free body fluids as well as rinsed liquid from swabs, stool samples or small tissue samples using magnetic beads and the InviMag Magnetic Rack. The DNA isolation process is based on the interaction of nucleic acids with coated magnetic particles under adapted buffer conditions.
InviMag® Stool DNA Mini Kit
The InviMag® Stool DNA Mini Kit allows a rapid and efficient isolation of high quality DNA from up to 100 – 200 mg of fresh or frozen human and animal stool sample or from up to 1.4 ml stabilized stool sample (in Stool Collection Tubes with Stool Stabilizer – can be ordered seperately) using magnetic beads. A rigorous prelysis step with optimized prelysis buffer under high temperatures, is followed by a preincubation of the sample with InviAdsorb to remove PCR inhibitors. Undissolved particles and PCR inhibitors bound to InviAdsorb will be removed by a centrifugation step. The following Proteinase K digestion ensures high yields. Stool contains a range of DNA e.g. host DNA from colon epithelial cells, parasite DNA, bacterial DNA, DNA from food or DNA from gastrointestinal pathogens. The choice of different lysis conditions allows the enrichment or a reduction of the content of bacterial DNA in the total DNA in favor of human DNA.
All kits can also be used for automated nucleic acid purification on the KingFisher® mL and 96 platforms. Up to 15 or 96 samples in parallel can be processed.
